Emily L. Davis, Ph.D.
Emily is a consultant and author leading the field in new teacher induction and supports. Her work focuses primarily on the research and development of high quality mentoring for new teachers. Emily has been nationally recognized by both Phi Delta Kappa and ASCD as an Emerging Leader in the field of education. She has publish multiple articles in well respected national journals and her book, Making Mentoring Work, is used internationally to design induction supports for new teachers. In addition to her work in mentoring, Emily provides consulting and expertise in designing differentiated classrooms, improving curriculum and instruction, facilitating effective meetings, and ensuring compliance with national and state policies and standards.

Jason P. Davis, M.S.Ed., M.Ed.
Jason is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of San Francisco studying special education and new teacher development. Having served students and teachers as a mentor, school administrator, and fieldwork supervisor, Jason continues to seek engaging methods to create classroom environments that support the needs of both students and teachers. To achieve this, his research centers on teacher development, mentoring, and coaching of novice special education teachers. With his wealth of practical experience and research knowledge, Jason has consulted with both traditional and charter public schools to support their growth and understanding in meeting the diverse needs of students. He emphasizes the need to see children for all that they are and to create welcoming environments that enable students of all abilities to achieve. Whether it is a district wide structural redesign or supporting a single individual with unique challenges, Jason brings his passion for teaching and learning to every situation.
